New Airline will Operate from Los Cabos to Vallarta & Guadalajara

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – A new Mexican airline called Señor Air, whose base will be in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, will soon start flying to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Guadalajara and other destinations.

According to the airline, it will operate with Brazilian-made Embraer 135 aircraft, small executive-style jets that have a capacity for 37 passengers.

Señor Air will fly from the Cabo San Lucas International Airport to the Los Mochis (LMM), Mazatlán (MZT), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), Guadalajara (GDL) and Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) airports.

And, since the airline’s objective is to provide scheduled and non-scheduled air transportation services in the northwest of Mexico, it could offer interesting routes from Puerto Vallarta, such as flights to cities in the states of Sonora or Sinaloa. It could also give airlines that fly the Guadalajara – Vallarta route competition.

Though the airline has not yet revealed its official launch date, according to the Señor Air website, ticket sales will begin very soon for the five mentioned destinations in three fare categories: Economy, Economy Plus and Priority. Special services, such as accompanying minors and transporting pets, will also be offered.

The new airline’s prices have not yet been published, but it is expected that they will be competitive and that this new airline will be priced for the general market and not be exclusive, although it will also have special charter flight services.
